Another good parking spot! Hurrah! 2. Eating a home cooked meal with my bf. He is so appreciative of my culinary efforts and since he is now sharing the cooking responsibilities he even more does his share of the work! Last night we had such a nice conversation about a lot of different topics. I enjoy his company so much. 3. That things always work out for me. As I allow this thought and belief more and more into my life, lo and behold, it actually occurs. Sometimes it doesn't work out the way I thought it would or had envisioned, but that is ok. This, if anything, has taught me to let go a lot of my expectations and visions of how things "should be". While "letting go" scares me as I feel I am losing control, in reality I am the captain of my own ship and I slice through those waves to a clear path. The resistence is slowly slipping away. 4. As the morning began to unfold, I looked at my cat and appreciated her in a new way -- she's 16, and we treat her as though she's made of glass. She is sooooo affectionate, but she's really a tough old bird. I gave her a big hug. And of course the dogs in the morning -- into the routine that they trained me for -- and responsive as ever. The ride into work was sooooo easy. I left a couple minutes earlier than usual, and what a difference those couple minutes make. As Mary Ann often notes, a great parking spot waiting for me. Upon arriving at work, there has been pleasant chit-chat with colleagues which I enjoy. And, someone was able to give me a piecce of information I had been wanting for a few days. I suddenly remembered that she would have access to it, and she was available to research it for me. Coincidence? I think not. Yeah, there's plenty to appreciate. No need to "look hard."
