Inner Beauty….

Today I Appreciate….

  • Inner Beauty – So I was going about my day today, doing errands, and feeling good with a smile on my face. When all of a sudden, I became aware of the fact that many of the people around me also had smiles on their faces. Now it could have just been my imagination, but it seemed that my smile was contagious.

The greeters at the stores I went into met my smile with an even bigger smile, who they in turn shared with the person coming in behind me, who would in turn smile walking into the store and so on and so on…

Each aisle I walked down,  I was meet with not only employee’s smiles but total strangers would smiled back at me….each of their faces seem to change, to become beautiful to me. Theirs smiles just seem to light up their faces, and I got a glimpse of the beauty that each one had inside.

I got goosebumps when the thought came to me how beautiful the people smiling looked to me. Their inner beauty really started to show through and it was so marvelous to see.

I so appreciate that I can see inner beauty today, that I know it is just a matter of changing my perspective only slightly.

I appreciate having my car back and the possibility that my insurance company will cover part of the repair costs

I appreciate last night’s 10 hours of glorious restorative sleep – the night before I barely eeked out 6 hours so last night was a real treat; I didn’t even mind missing dinner (so very unusual for me) and it made a fabulous lunch

I appreciate my girl getting up 3 hours earlier than she had to just to get me to work on time yesterday while my car was still in the shop

I appreciate this new found feeling of ‘no fear’ that enabled me to ask for that ride to work, to pick up the phone and call the insurance company and probably 101 other things that I’ve started doing and requesting now that I’ve traded in my expectation of disappointment for the possibility of receiving…. it has made moving through my day so much lighter and downright enjoyable.

I appreciate the animals around hear. Everyday there are two cats who live at the guest house and roam around, entertaining us. Theu find the greatest places to siesta, and they run around at night playing hide and seek and showiing off their climbing abilities.

I appreciate the chickens and roosters who live at the homes surrounding the guest house. They are hysterical, walking around in the yards, with the roosters crowing throoughout the day.

And the liitle frogs known as coquis who come out in the evening and sing their little tunes – something like the peepers upstate.

Different and entertaining…………….

Hi ~ Hi

I’m in here as a guest today 😉

Coryelle – I Love this post about Inner Beauty. We are all Inner Beauty but we can forget to see that in ourselves and others. When we connect to it – to our true selves – we are then able to see all the beauty that surrounds us.

Sydney – “I’ve traded in my expectation of disappointment for the possibility of receiving” Your expectation of receiving is the *allowing* of all your dreams and desires! 😀
